Indian Film Festival NZ Brings Trade Opportunities to Kiwi Businesses
The Indian Film Festival NZ has kicked off in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch from October 23 to 25. The festival aims to bring India and New Zealand closer through cinema, trade, and culture.
Organizers expect the festival to contribute around NZ$10 million annually to the New Zealand economy through tourism, screen production, creative services, and associated commercial activity. This aligns with the government's ambition to grow two-way trade with India.
The festival is more than just a celebration of Indian cinema; it serves as a commercial platform connecting New Zealand exporters, filmmakers, tourism operators, and business leaders with one of the world's largest and fastest-growing markets, India. The event will give New Zealand brands a unique opportunity to build relationships with Indian consumers, distributors, and commercial partners.
