Infometrics CEO Brad Olsen Steps Down Amid Shift in Leadership

Brad Olsen is stepping down as chief executive at Infometrics, a New Zealand-based economic research and forecasting company.

Olsen will return to his principal economist role, focusing on interacting with clients and analyzing the economy firsthand.

He cited energy concerns for making the change, stating that holding both positions has been 'a lot of energy' over the past decade.

Gareth Kiernan, who joined Infometrics in 1999 and previously held the managing director role from 2006 to 2014, will take on an acting managing director position.

Kiernan expressed enthusiasm for driving further growth at the company and continuing its mission of providing valuable data and insights across the New Zealand economy.
