Interest Rates Stabilized Amid High Inflation Concerns
Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers welcomed the Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) decision to keep interest rates at 4.35 per cent, saying it would ease pressure on Australians.
While inflation has fallen significantly compared to forecasts, Dr Chalmers noted that it remains high and is a concern for the government.
The Treasurer emphasized his focus on managing the budget responsibly and providing cost-of-living relief where possible.
