International Currencies Remain Stable in Pakistan
The major international currencies, including the US dollar, UK Pound, Euro, UAE Dirham, and Saudi Riyal, have remained stable in Pakistan. As of August 25, 2026, the US dollar is being bought at Rs278.00 and sold at Rs278.65, while the euro is available for buying at Rs323.27 and selling at Rs327.71.
The UK Pound continues to hold a significantly higher value against the Pakistani rupee, with rates of Rs376.97 for buying and Rs380.25 for selling. The UAE Dirham and Saudi Riyal are also relatively stable, standing at Rs75.60 buying and Rs76.50 selling, and Rs73.90 buying and Rs74.60 selling, respectively.
These currencies are particularly important for Pakistan due to the large number of Pakistanis working in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, as well as the substantial remittances sent from these countries.
