Iran Leader Calls for Domestic Production Boost, Dollar Phase-Out
The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Mojataba Khamenei, has called for boosting domestic production and phasing out the US dollar from transactions to address the country's economic challenges.
In a message marking Government Week, which commemorates President Mohammad Ali Rajai and Prime Minister Mohammad Javad Bahonar who were assassinated in 1981, Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to the need to address inflation and other economic issues.
He emphasized the importance of managing the economy effectively, seeking assistance from experts and the people, and bringing new capacities into operation to guide the country toward expansion and development.
