Iran Releases New Exchange Rates Amid Black Market Fluctuations
The Central Bank of Iran has released new exchange rates for foreign currencies as of September 9. The official rate for $1 is now 1,624,371 rials, while one euro is valued at 1,888,746 rials. These rates are part of the SANA system adopted by the CBI for currency exchange offices.
Compared to the previous day's rates, the value of 42 currencies has increased, and three have decreased. The official rate for the British pound is now 2,199,693 rials, and the Swiss franc is valued at 2,007,759 rials.
The exchange rates on the black market vary significantly from the official rates. $1 is worth approximately 2.28-2.31 million rials, while one euro is worth 2.65-2.68 million rials.
