Iran Updates Exchange Rates: 46 Currencies See Increase
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has announced updated exchange rates for foreign currencies as of August 9. According to the CBI, the value of 46 currencies increased compared to the previous day.
The official rate for $1 is now 1,519,645 rials, while one euro is valued at 1,756,541 rials. The exchange rates have been adopted by currency exchange offices under the SANA system, with the euro priced at 1,787,576 rials and $1 costing 1,546,495 rials.
In contrast, on the black market, $1 is worth approximately 1.85-1.88 million rials, while one euro is valued between 2.14-2.17 million rials.
