Iran's Central Bank Announces August 8 Exchange Rates

The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of August 8. According to the CBI, the value of 44 currencies increased compared to August 6, while 2 currencies saw a decrease in value.

The official rate for $1 is 1,515,140 rials, up from 1,506,635 rials on August 6. The euro also saw an increase, valued at 1,751,472 rials, up from 1,739,568 rials the previous day.

The CBI has adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where one euro costs 1,785,423 rials and $1 costs 1,544,510. On the black market, $1 is worth approximately 1,87-1,90 million rials, while one euro is worth 2,15-2,18 million rials.
