Iran's Central Bank Publishes New Exchange Rates as Currency Values Rise
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of September 7. According to the CBI's announced rates, the value of 46 currencies went up compared to September 6.
The official rate for $1 is 1,614,668 rials, while one euro is valued at 1,874,727 rials. This marks an increase in the value of these currencies against the Iranian rial.
The CBI has adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where one euro costs 1,874,727 rials and $1 costs 1,614,668 rials. In contrast, on the black market, $1 is worth about 2.23-2.26 million rials, while one euro is worth 2.59-2.62 million rials.
