Iran's Central Bank Publishes Updated Exchange Rates Amid Market Volatility
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has published the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of September 15. According to the CBI's announcements, the value of 32 currencies increased, while 13 currencies decreased compared to the previous day.
The official rate for $1 is now 1,648,883 rials, and one euro is valued at 1,904,297 rials. The exchange rates for various currencies are as follows: the British pound is worth 2,224,822 rials, the Swiss franc is valued at 2,017,455 rials, and the Indian rupee is priced at 17,224 rials.
The CBI has also introduced the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where one euro costs 1,904,297 rials and $1 costs 1,648,883. On the black market, the value of $1 is around 2.29-2.32 million rials, while one euro is worth 2.65-2.68 million rials.
