Iran's Central Bank Releases New Exchange Rates as Currency Values Fluctuate

The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of September 10. According to the CBI, the value of 41 currencies increased compared to September 9, while four currencies decreased in value.

The official rate for $1 is now 1,629,244 rials, up from 1,624,371 rials on September 9. The euro also saw an increase, valued at 1,894,334 rils, up from 1,888,746 rils the previous day.

The CBI has adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where one euro costs 1,894,334 rials and $1 costs 1,629,244 rials. In contrast, on the black market, $1 is worth approximately 2.34-2.37 million rials, while one euro is valued at 2.72-2.75 million rils.
