Iraqi Dinar Falls as US Dollar Surges in Baghdad and Erbil
The US dollar started the week on an upward trend in Iraq, trading at higher prices in both Baghdad and Erbil.
In the capital city, the dollar was selling at around 152,500 dinars per 100 dollars, according to a market survey conducted by Shafaq News. This represents an increase from Sunday's price of 152,100 dinars.
Exchange shops in Baghdad were offering the dollar for sale at 153,000 dinars and buying it at 152,000 dinars. In Erbil, selling prices stood at 152,500 dinars and buying prices at 152,400 dinars.
