Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed on Wednesday that it fired ballistic missiles at a US air base and the CENTCOM center in Jordan. The move comes as tensions between Iran and the US continue to escalate.

A spokesperson for Jordan stated earlier that the country intercepted five missiles launched from Iran, according to state news agency reports.

Despite the increased aggression in the Middle East, the US Dollar (USD) saw no immediate reaction, trading 0.1% lower at around 101.27.
