The war in Iran and subsequent disruptions to oil supply have fueled concerns about global inflation, with Brent crude heading for its second consecutive weekly gain and a sixth increase in eight weeks. European diesel prices have surged more than 70% since the conflict began, while US petrol prices have risen by around 60%.
Investors will also be watching Nvidia's second-quarter results on Wednesday, as the semiconductor company is seen as an indicator of AI investment and technology-sector sentiment.
