Japan's Corporate Services Inflation Remains Elevated Despite Minor Slowdown
Japan's Corporate Service Price Index (CSPI) rose 3.2% year on year in June, easing from a 3.3% increase in the previous reading.
This marginal slowdown indicates slightly cooler price pressures in services provided between companies, but service-sector inflation remains incredibly sticky.
The CSPI is still near multi-decade highs and sits well above the Bank of Japan's 2% target.
