JPYC, a Japanese stablecoin issuer, has secured an additional 6 billion Yen ($38 million) in funding through its extended Series B round. The investment brings JPYC's total funding since 2021 to about $106 million.

The latest round saw the participation of AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings, a major Japanese logistics firm. As part of their strategic partnership, the companies plan to integrate JPYC's Yen-backed stablecoin into logistics and payment operations.

JPYC aims to expand its financial ecosystem with payments, remittances, and broader real-world use cases for its Yen-pegged stablecoin. The company has also been testing stablecoin payments with retailers like Lawson.
