Kentucky State University Hosts 2026 Federal Reserve Luncheon with Financial Leaders
The School of Business and Center for Economic Education and Financial Literacy at Kentucky State University will host the 2026 Annual Federal Reserve Luncheon on September 22. The event, presented in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' Louisville Branch, aims to connect students with leaders in the financial, education, and workforce sectors.
The featured speakers are Seema Sheth, senior vice president and regional executive of the Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and Tanelle Sawyer, chief external impact officer for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. Sheth has led the Louisville Branch since December 2021 and founded the Adulting Academy to teach young adults foundational financial skills.
The annual luncheon continues a longstanding collaboration between Kentucky State's School of Business and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' Louisville Branch. The event provides students with an opportunity to hear from leaders and consider how their education can prepare them to contribute to economic and workforce development in their communities.
