King Charles Debuts on Redesigned Canadian $20 Bill
The Bank of Canada unveiled its redesigned $20 note featuring a portrait of King Charles on Thursday in Ottawa. The vertical bill, made from polymer, is predominantly green and retains the Canadian National Vimy Memorial on the back.
This marks the first time Canadian paper currency has featured King Charles, replacing Queen Elizabeth II who passed away previously. According to the Bank of Canada, the new design will gradually enter circulation in late February next year.
