Labour Blames Government for Rising Inflation and Poverty
New Zealand's inflation rate has risen to 4.1%, according to the latest figures, and Labour Finance spokesperson Barbara Edmonds says this is a sign that the government has failed to deliver on its economic promises.
Edmonds argues that high unemployment rates, coupled with rising poverty and food insecurity, are evidence of the government's inability to manage the economy effectively.
'We believe the Government has failed to deliver on its economic promises,' Edmonds said. 'New Zealanders deserve a clearer plan for growth and affordability.'
