Lek Strengthens Against Dollar, Euro, Pound Amid Global Economic Uncertainty

This Saturday, August 1, 2026, saw further decline in foreign currencies against the Albanian lek. According to the latest exchange rate data, one US dollar is now bought for 80.6 leks and sold for 82 leks.

The euro has also dropped, with a buying price of 93 leks and a selling price of 93.8 leks. The British pound fell to 108.2 leks for purchase and 109.4 leks for sale.

Meanwhile, the Swiss franc was bought at 99.5 leks and sold at 100.7 leks. The Canadian dollar exchanged hands for 57.3 leks in purchase and 58.5 leks in sale.
