Lockheed Martin Canada is expanding its operations in Nova Scotia, planning to add up to 320 highly skilled jobs over the next five years. The expansion could contribute around $126 million in salaries and benefits to the provincial economy.

The company's growth is supported by increasing international demand for its Canadian-made CMS 330 combat management system. Recently, the German Navy selected CMS 330 for integration across its surface fleet, which will support direct, indirect, and supply-chain employment.

Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Isaacs, General Manager for Lockheed Martin Canada Rotary and Missions Systems, emphasized the company's long history in Nova Scotia, stating, 'Nova Scotia is integral to our operations and continued growth.'

The expansion will benefit not only Nova Scotia but also other parts of Canada. The company's existing workforce in Halifax numbers over 500 employees.
