Loonie Slips Below $1.41 as Crude Oil Prices Correct
The Canadian dollar experienced a decline on Friday morning, dipping below $1.41 CAD per US dollar.
This decrease coincided with a correction in crude oil prices, which saw Brent crude oil drop to $97.76/barrel after briefly surpassing the $100/barrel mark on Thursday.
The U.S. Dollar Index also declined slightly, down 0.02 of a point at 101.42.
The TSX/S&P Composite Index attempted to recover from Thursday's selloff, gaining 80.34 points at 35,273.00.
