Loonie Stays Steady Amid Crude Oil Price Hike

The Canadian dollar remained relatively stable on Thursday, closing at US$0.7134 or US$1=C$1.4018.

This marks a minimal change from Wednesday's close of US$0.7130 or US$1=US$1.4026.

The United States Dollar Index increased 0.27 of a point to reach 99.95.

Crude oil prices saw an uptick, with West Texas Intermediate rising US$2.52 per barrel to US$77.74 and Brent crude oil increasing by US$3.45/barrel to US$82.90.
