Luxembourg Launches €270M Future Fund for Diversified Economic Growth
Luxembourg has launched the Luxembourg Future Fund 3 (LFF 3), a €270 million initiative to support economic diversification and sustainable development in the country. The fund is a collaboration between the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of the Economy, Société Nationale de Crédit et d'Investissement (SNCI), and the European Investment Fund (EIF).
The LFF 3 operates as a fund-of-funds, investing in venture capital, private equity, and debt funds. The initiative targets high-growth sectors such as cybertech, deeptech, fintech, healthtech, and greentech.
The programme is designed to back investment funds that are either established in Luxembourg or commit to relocating there, creating a strong local presence. This marks a significant evolution in the operational model from previous iterations, with SNCI now directly involved in the investment process alongside EIF.
