Luxon's Air Force Rides and the Cancer Test Funding Scandal

A scandal has erupted in New Zealand's health care system after it was revealed that almost a million women were not sent cancer test notifications due to funding concerns and staffing freezes. The decision, made by Health NZ, would have cost several hundred thousand dollars to rectify, according to experts.

National Party leader Christopher Luxon has come under fire for using an RNZAF plane to attend a National fundraising dinner in Whangarei at no additional cost to taxpayers. Luxon defended the flight, saying that the air force had the plane and needed to keep it running, but opposition leader Chris Hipkins called it 'unjustifiable'.

NZ First is also considering proposing a ban on foreign-born citizens from becoming MPs, which would apply to some of its own candidates. The proposal has sparked controversy as it would restrict opportunities for certain individuals.
