Manchester City has shattered the Premier League record for signing a teenager by securing Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi for a staggering KES 13.9 billion.

The English club negotiated an unprecedented 100 million Euros, translating to 85.6 million British Pounds, to secure the 18-year-old on a five-year contract.

This historic transfer shatters the previous record held by Manchester United for signing French defender Leny Yoro from Lille for 58.9 million British Pounds.

Bouaddi's impressive resume includes 96 senior appearances for Lille, as well as five out of six starts for the Moroccan national team during their World Cup quarterfinals run.
