Market Volatility Looms as Jackson Hole Summit Approaches

EUR USD JPY AUD

The EUR/USD, EUR/JPY, and AUD/USD currency pairs are bracing for potential volatility ahead of the Jackson Hole economic summit.

EUR/USD is currently trading around $1.1650, stuck between resistance at $1.1700 and support at $1.1580, with the 50- and 200-period EMAs converging at current price.

Currency trader Chris notes that the euro looks 'a little tired' on the daily chart and that a dovish speech from Kevin Warsh could lead to a pullback to $1.1580 or a rally to $1.17 if he sounds dovish instead.

EUR/JPY is holding above converging EMAs, with 185.000 as horizontal support below and 186.000 as recent resistance.

AUD/USD is testing the 0.7200 level, holding above the 50- and 200-period EMAs with 0.7150 as support below.
