Metall Zug Sees Slight Sales Growth Amid Negative Currency Effects

Haag-Streit, one of Metall Zug's Business Units, was particularly successful in the first half of 2026. The company reported net sales of CHF 78.2 million, a slight increase from the previous year. This growth was driven by rising unit volumes in its core business of slit lamps.

Haag-Streit returned to profitability in the first half of 2026, with an EBIT of CHF 2.7 million. This was due in part to measures introduced in 2025 to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
