Milliard Unveils Economic Vision for Quebec in Four Key Commitments
Quebec Liberal Party Leader Charles Milliard has outlined his vision for the province's economy in four commitments, aimed at strengthening Quebec's influence within Canada and developing new trade alliances.
Milliard made the announcement at a press conference outside the U.S. Consulate in Quebec City on July 29, just one month before the official start of the election campaign.
He stated that Quebec's economy relies heavily on its relationship with the United States and the rest of Canada, but currently lacks leadership to reap its full benefits.
Milliard promised to 'forge alliances by strengthening ties' with other provinces and the federal government to 'conquer new markets together' via trade missions abroad.
