Moore Grades Economy a Mediocre B Amid High Prices
Former Trump Economic Adviser Stephen Moore has given the US economy a grade of B, calling it 'good' but not 'great'. In an appearance on The Jesse Kelly Show, Moore said that while the country's economic performance is strong compared to other nations, it still has room for improvement.
'I'd give it a B, not an A,' Moore stated. He attributed the economy's mediocre grade to high prices, particularly at the pump, with gas costing $4.25 per gallon. Moore noted that these expenses are driving up costs in various sectors, such as food and transportation.
Moore also expressed confidence in the ability of Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh to bring down inflation rates, which he believes will alleviate consumer concerns about prices. However, until then, people will remain dissatisfied with the economic situation, Moore said.
