Morgan Stanley Reveals XRP Holdings Amid Token's Prolonged Downturn
Morgan Stanley has revealed its exposure to XRP through three exchange-traded funds in its second-quarter 13F filing. The bank held 6,715 shares of the Franklin XRP ETF, 255 shares of the Rex-Osprey XRP ETF, and 67 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF.
The filings also showed that Morgan Stanley has a stake in Armada Acquisition Corp II, the SPAC partner of Ripple-backed Evernorth Holdings. This adds another layer to its connection with the broader XRP ecosystem.
Other institutions, including Wolverine Asset Management and National Bank of Canada, have also disclosed their XRP ETF positions.
The combined net assets of U.S. spot XRP ETFs stood at approximately $942.25 million as of August 13, with cumulative inflows near $1.51 billion.
