Mother Dies from Stroke, Leaves Behind Homeless Son
A Charlotte woman has passed away due to complications from a stroke. Angela Davis was 62 years old and had been working at the Federal Reserve Bank in uptown Charlotte for nearly a decade.
In contrast, her son Floyd Davis struggled with homelessness for many years, often living in the West Sugar Creek area of Charlotte.
Floyd's journey to homelessness began after falling on hard times and turning to alcohol. He was employed at Sam's Club in the university area but eventually became homeless.
