MotoGP Deal Extension Brings Economic Boost to Silverstone
Silverstone's MotoGP deal extension is a significant boost for the local and national economy, according to its managing director Stuart Pringle.
The track will continue to host the highest class of motorbike racing until at least 2028, with tens of thousands of fans expected to attend this year's British Grand Prix on Sunday.
Pringle described the new contract as 'very important' for generating revenue both in Northamptonshire and beyond, highlighting the significant economic impact of MotoGP events.
The managing director noted that while there is a lot of money spent locally during MotoGP events, the industry generates even more revenue for the UK economy through jobs, employment, and other economic activities.
