Naira Extends Gains Against Dollar to Weeklong High
The Nigerian naira has continued its upward trend against the US dollar, appreciating by 0.09% to N1,337.28 on Friday at the official foreign exchange market.
This represents a gain of N9.69 for the currency over the past week.
The latest appreciation is part of an extended trend that has persisted for two weeks, with the naira recording gains throughout the week.
On Monday, the naira traded at N1,346.97 per dollar before continuing its upward movement during the week.
