The naira opened the week on a relatively stable note, maintaining its position across both the official Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) and the parallel market.
At the official market, data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed the naira closing at ₦1,368.22 per US dollar on Friday, July 31, 2026.
The parallel market saw BDC operators quote the dollar at ₦1,400/$ for buying and ₦1,410/$ for selling, with prices largely unchanged from the previous session.
