National Bank of Canada Posts Record Q3 Earnings
The National Bank of Canada has reported strong financial results for Q3 2026, with EPS growing 26% year-over-year to $3.39 and revenues up 18%. The bank's Wealth Management and Capital Markets divisions delivered robust performance, with net income increasing by 22% and 32%, respectively.
The bank also reported positive operating leverage of nearly 6% and a CET1 ratio of 13.51% at quarter-end. However, P&C Banking NIM declined 7 basis points sequentially due to competitive mortgage pricing and deposit mix shifts.
