National Bank Sees Record Earnings Growth Amid Sector Volatility
National Bank of Canada (TSX:NA) reported third-quarter net income of C$1.31 billion, up 23% year-over-year, with diluted earnings per share rising 26% to C$3.25.
The bank's strong results were driven by growth across all major business segments, particularly Capital Markets (+32% net income) and Wealth Management (+21% net income).
For the first nine months of fiscal 2026, net income increased 28% to C$3.80 billion, and the bank raised its quarterly common share dividend to C$1.32 per share.
