National Bank Taps General Rick Hillier for Defence Advisory Role
The National Bank of Canada has appointed retired General Rick Hillier as its strategic defence adviser. Hillier, who previously served as chief of the defence staff and spent over 35 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, will help support clients in advanced manufacturing and aerospace.
Hillier noted that Canada is entering a period of significant investment in defence, and he looks forward to working with the bank to strengthen its military.
