NatWest Raises CHF 210M in Swiss Bond Market with Favorable Terms
NatWest has tapped the Swiss market for a CHF 210 million bond with a 1.135% coupon, due to mature on August 26, 2031.
The five-year senior, unsubordinated, unsecured note was placed under the lead management of Commerzbank, NatWest, and UBS.
The terms are favorable for investors: priced at 100.00% of face value, with an option to increase the amount and prices at a spread of 75 basis points over mid-swaps.
This move diversifies NatWest's funding base beyond sterling and euro sources, as it taps into the Swiss franc market.
