NBP Issues Latest Foreign Currency Exchange Rates in Pakistan
The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has issued its latest Exchange Rates Bulletin, providing ready transaction and cash rates for major foreign currencies. The bulletin outlines the selling and buying rates for various currencies, including the US dollar, euro, pound, yen, franc, Canadian dollar, Australian dollar, Singapore dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Chinese yuan, Korean won, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Qatari riyal, Kuwaiti dinar, and others.
The NBP set the US dollar's TT selling rate at Rs. 277.80 and the buying rate at Rs. 277.30. The euro stood at Rs. 322.53 for selling and Rs. 321.95 for buying. Meanwhile, the British pound was available at Rs. 375.31 for selling and Rs. 374.63 for buying.
The bank also quoted rates for Gulf currencies, with the UAE dirham set at Rs. 75.65 for selling and Rs. 75.51 for buying, and the Saudi riyal at Rs. 73.99 and Rs. 73.85, respectively. The Kuwaiti dinar recorded the highest quoted value among the listed currencies at Rs. 905.48 for selling and Rs. 903.85 for buying.
The bulletin provides the bank's quoted exchange rates for transactions and cash currency dealings. Actual customer rates may vary depending on the type and terms of the transaction.
