NBU Adjusts Exchange Rates Amid Ongoing War
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has adjusted its official exchange rate for August 20, setting the value of the dollar at 44.70 UAH, a decrease of 7 kopecks from the previous day.
This move comes as the NBU continues to maintain a managed floating exchange rate regime in response to a significant currency shortage caused by the ongoing war.
The euro, on the other hand, has continued to appreciate, with its official exchange rate set at 51.86 UAH, a 3-kopeck increase from the previous day.
