NBU Adjusts Exchange Rates Downward
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has adjusted its official exchange rates for the US dollar and euro, effective September 7. The new rate for the US dollar is set at 44.56 hryvnias per dollar, a decrease of 17 kopecks from the previous day's rate of 44.73 hryvnias per dollar.
The NBU also updated its official exchange rate for the euro to 51.79 hryvnias per euro, a reduction of 15 kopecks compared to Sunday's rate of 51.94 hryvnias per euro.
According to data from specialized websites, as of September 7 at 08:00, banks are trading dollars at 44.40-44.86 UAH, euros at 51.53-52.14 UAH, and zloty at 11.62-12.11 UAH.
The interbank market rates for the dollar and euro are 44.60-44.63 UAH/USD and 51.81-51.83 UAH/EUR respectively.
