NBU Lowers Official Exchange Rates for Dollar and Euro
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) made adjustments to its official exchange rates for the dollar and euro as of August 27. The U.S. dollar fell by 10 kopecks, while the euro dropped by 8 kopecks.
The NBU set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against foreign currencies at 44.57 UAH for the dollar and 52.00 UAH for the euro as of August 27. This marks a decrease in the official exchange rate, which may not reflect the actual buying or selling prices in banks and currency exchange offices.
The regulator publishes daily exchange rate data on its official website, which is used for accounting calculations, financial reporting, and other transactions where the official ratio of the hryvnia to foreign currencies is required.
