Nepal Rastra Bank Announces Current Exchange Rates
Nepal Rastra Bank has released the exchange rates for various foreign currencies in Nepal. The central bank sets the exchange rate of foreign currency for each day, and it can be revised at any time as needed.
The current purchase rate for one US dollar is set at 152 rupees 31 paisa, while the selling rate is 152 rupees 91 paisa. The rates for other currencies are: Australian dollar (109 rupees 62 paisa purchase and 110 rupees 05 paisa selling), Canadian dollar (109 rupees 90 paisa purchase and 110 rupees 34 paisa selling), European Euro (177 rupees 30 paisa purchase and 177 rupees 99 paisa selling), UK Pound Sterling (206 rupees 88 paisa purchase and 207 rupees 69 paisa selling).
The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ from those determined by the central bank. The updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank's website.
