Nepal Rastra Bank Announces Updated Foreign Exchange Rates
Nepal Rastra Bank has announced its latest foreign exchange rates for various currencies. The central bank sets the purchase and selling rates for US dollars, European euros, UK pound sterling, Swiss francs, Australian dollars, Canadian dollars, Singapore dollars, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, Saudi Arabian riyals, Qatari riyals, Thai bahts, UAE dirhams, Malaysian ringgits, South Korean won, Swedish kroners, Danish kroner, Hong Kong dollars, Kuwaiti dinars, Bahrain dinars, Omani rials, and Indian rupees.
The purchase rate for one US dollar has been set at 152 rupees 37 paisa, while the selling rate is 152 rupees 97 paisa. For European euros, the purchase rate is 177 rupees 78 paisa, and the selling rate is 178 rupees 48 paisa.
The exchange rates may be revised by the central bank as needed. Commercial banks may have different exchange rates, which can be found on the Nepal Rastra Bank's website.
