Nepal Rastra Bank Sets Foreign Currency Exchange Rates for Today
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. The central bank set the buying rate for one US dollar at Rs 152.59, while the selling rate is Rs 153.19.
The buying and selling rates for other currencies have also been set: Euro (Rs 176.09/Rs 176.78), UK pound sterling (Rs 205.74/Rs 206.55), Swiss franc (Rs 186.80/Rs 187.54), Australian dollar (Rs 108.74/Rs 109.16), Canadian dollar (Rs 109.81/Rs 110.24), Singapore dollar (Rs 120.05/Rs 120.52), Japanese yen (Rs 9.86/Rs 9.90 for 10 units), Chinese yuan (Rs 22.75/Rs 22.83), Saudi Arabian riyal (Rs 40.63/Rs 40.79), Qatari riyal (Rs 41.86/Rs 42.02), Thai baht (Rs 4.59/Rs 4.60), UAE dirham (Rs 41.55/Rs 41.71), Malaysian ringgit (Rs 37.44/Rs 37.58), South Korean won (Rs 11.35/Rs 11.39 for 100 units), Swedish krona (Rs 15.61/Rs 15.67), Danish krone (Rs 23.55/Rs 23.65), Hong Kong dollar (Rs 19.45/Rs 19.53), Kuwaiti dinar (Rs 497.20/Rs 499.15), Bahraini dinar (Rs 404.77/Rs 406.37), Omani rial (Rs 396.33/Rs 397.89), and Indian rupee (Rs 160 for 100 units).
The central bank warned that the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary, and commercial banks' rates may differ from theirs.
