Nepal Rastra Bank Sets New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies

The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for various foreign currencies in Nepal. According to the central bank, the purchase rate of one US dollar is 151 rupees and 63 paisa, while the selling rate is 152 rupees and 23 paisa.

The exchange rates for other currencies are as follows: Australian dollar (108 rupees and 32 paisa buy/sell), Canadian dollar (109 rupees and 32 paisa buy/sell), European Euro (175 rupees and 78 paisa buy/sell, 176 rupees and 48 paisa sell), UK Pound Sterling (205 rupees and 30 paisa buy/sell, 206 rupees and 11 paisa sell).

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed. Commercial banks may have different exchange rates, and the updated rates will be available on the central bank's website.
