Nepal Rastra Bank Sets New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies
Nepal Rastra Bank has set today's exchange rates for various foreign currencies. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is 152 rupees and 41 paisa, while the selling rate is 153 rupees and 1 paisa.
The exchange rates for other currencies are as follows: Australian dollar - 109 rupees and 89 paisa (buying) to 110 rupees and 32 paisa (selling); Canadian dollar - 110 rupees and 37 paisa (buying) to 110 rupees and 80 paisa (selling); European Euro - 177 rupees and 32 paisa (buying) to 178 rupees and 2 paisa (selling); UK Pound Sterling - 206 rupees and 53 paisa (buying) to 207 rupees and 34 paisa (selling).
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed, and commercial banks may have different exchange rates. The updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank's website.
