New Zealand Board Directors Invited to Explore Singapore and India in November 2026
The Asia New Zealand Foundation Te Whītau Tūhono is offering up to eight funded places for future-thinking New Zealand board directors to join a delegation to Singapore and India in November 2026. The programme provides participants with opportunities to engage directly with company boards, business leaders, and key decision-makers while exploring strategic issues affecting New Zealand and Asian markets.
The delegation is designed for New Zealand directors who want to strengthen their understanding of Asian markets and develop stronger relationships with business and governance leaders in Singapore and India. Participants will take part in discussions and meetings with company boards and other influential decision-makers, covering topics such as geopolitics, artificial intelligence, climate resilience, investment, innovation, and cultural fluency.
The programme aims to encourage strategic thinking about Asia, stronger New Zealand-Asia business relationships, better understanding of Asian markets, cross-cultural leadership and governance skills, knowledge sharing between directors, and greater awareness of emerging economic and geopolitical trends. The Asia New Zealand Foundation will cover major programme-related travel and participation expenses, including return economy-class airfares, internal flights, accommodation, group meals, entry fees, and other costs directly associated with the prepared programme.
