North American Markets Decline Amid Global Volatility
The North American stock markets have seen significant declines today, according to The Globe and Mail. The TSX fell by 0.82%, while the S&P 500 dropped by 1.21%.
The DOW and NASDAQ also saw losses, with the DOW down by 0.97% and the NASDAQ plummeting by 2.15%. Oil prices have declined by 3.26%, and the US dollar has decreased in value by 0.09%.
However, some Canadian stocks showed gains, including WCP-T, BTE-T, CVE-T, and CNQ-T, which rose by 1.64%, 2.31%, 2.47%, and 2.72%, respectively.
